LeWeb'12: Internet des objets

Le thème du salon LeWeb'12 Paris était l'Internet des objets. Internet of Things ou IoT sera probablement l'une des avancées technologiques les plus importantes du 21ème siècle. D'ici 2020, on estime qu'il y aura environ 50 milliards d'appareils connectés à l'Internet.

Quelques exemples d'orateurs: Kevin Systrom, Instagram, David Marcus, Paypal, Pascal Cagni, Apple Europe, Aditya Agarwal, Dropbox, etc.

Startups.be: Belgian Web Community

En 2011, l'AWT, l'ABE (Agence Bruxelloise pour l'Entreprise), et la Webmission, avec le soutien de l'AWEX, se sont associé afin d'organiser un stand belge sur LeWeb'11. Ce stand collectif avait pour but de représenter l'innovation Web belge, en particulier Wallonne et Bruxelloise.

En 2012 , une nouvelle collaboration a vu le jour: l'AWT, l'Agence Bruxelloise pour l'Entreprise (et plus particulièrement le cluster Software in Brussels) et iMinds se sont associé afin d'emmener 14 entreprises wallonnes, flamandes et bruxelloise sur le stand Belge de l'édition 2012 sous le logo de Startups.be.

Les entreprises sélectionnées étaient: Carambla, WeePee New Media Ventures, Small Town Heroes et Twipe Mobile pour la Flandre, 8thColor, CleverPhone, Mobilosoft, TagTagCity et 87seconds pour Bruxelles et Uniwan, MyMicroInvest, Freedelity, Tuzzit et EarlyTracks pour la Wallonie.

Earlytracks

EarlyTracks' objective is to assist users in their information gattering process by reducing the burden of the opacity everyone experiences accessing information. EarlyTracks does that by structuring the unstructured (in particular, news articles and social news) using machine learning and semantics. Our intensive processing enables us to ensure highly relevant results to our users. E.g., we have worked for years on the smart aggregation of news and we reach very exciting tools for professionals.

Freedelity

Freedelity markets a SaaS CRM platform that helps retail & events professionals grow, leverage and capitalize on top-class customer/prospects databases by using the most reliable data source on the market: the electronic identity card. It uses feed enablers like customer loyalty or iPad-drived mobile data acquisition to guarantee unprecedented levels of data quality, and provides tons of communication, management, analytics and statistical features.

MyMicroInvest

MyMicroInvest is a unique equity based crowdfunding platform that enables individuals to invest from 100 euro alongside professionals in venture capital investment opportunities. We believe that co-investment ensures a better selection of start-ups, optimizes investment conditions and offers a better follow up. In order to comply with the law and enable start-ups to crowdfund their business over 100keuro, we publish a FSMA-approved prospectus.

Tuzzit

Uniwan

Based on several consultants, decades of experience, great passion, Uniwan.be was created in 2003. Located at Pont-à-Celles in their own offices designed and safety secured in relation to their needs, Uniwan has an infrastructure spread over several sites. This young company now comprises 11 people around management and monitoring activities of ICT systems more and more critical and complex. They manage the infrastructure of more than 80 customers spread in Europe and around the world.
